Reading Binge

Hi Sweeties,

I know it's about time for some news but I am on a reading binge at the moment (and have been for the last few weeks, there is a list of the books I read on the right) and find it hard to drag myself away from the new Stephen King book which I started reading yesterday. My two favourite writers, John Irving and Stephen King, have made this a very exciting time for me, both releasing their new novels and they are both quite long. I am on page 236 (of 880) of "Under The Dome" and it is a real King classic, he's back where I love him most!

So I hope you'll be patient with me, I promise not to start reading another book before I have updated you on what's going on in my world, but I have to finish this one first.

Here is a photo of me with 2 colleagues, Irene and Noeleen from last Thursday. We had a little party in the Radisson Hotel in Galway because our boss is retiring in 2 weeks time. Oh, by the way, I'm the one in the middle - of course - rolling a fag and having a pint of beer in front of me!

So I'll be back soon, in the meantime I hope you are not getting too depressed by winter creeping in, I know most of you cannot stand it.
